- Exeter
Despite living in Somerset for over 10 years now, and being less than 2 hours away, somehow I had never been to Exeter. My first trip was in the beginning of November as a post-birthday shopping trip. It must have been the coldest day of the year and we spent a fair mount of time freezing at train stations and dashing between shops, but we both loved it instantly. It has such a unique charm that you don't find in many places; the architecture was particularly beautiful.
On the high street alone you had buildings from all ages. At one end is the ultra modern shopping centre, Princess Hay, and a large glass John Lewis store, then you have the Tudor buildings dotted in unsuspecting places, and of course, Exeter cathedral hidden behind the main street. On my visit a Christmas market was in front of the cathedral, making it even more magical!

- Acqua Di Parma - Fico Di Amalfi Eau De Toilette
Describing perfumes is a lot more difficult than you'd expect... The Acqua Di parma website describes it as:
"A fragrance with a vivacious opening thanks to the energetic notes of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and citron. Fig nectar blends with pink peppercorn and jasmine petals at the heart precursing a delicious harmony of fig wood, cedar wood and benzoin".
All I can say is you Must try it! You can find it at John Lewis here.
